All the sessions will take place at Fermilab (Travel Info) in Wilson Hall.
The Comitium (on the south side of the 2nd floor of Wilson Hall) is reserved for the Review Committee during the whole period, and will be used for all Executive Session in full committee.
Site Access to Fermilab: Due to Fermilab's heightened security status, positive identification is required to gain access to the site. At this time, this requires any guests to obtain and display a visitor's pass. Also honored is any valid Fermilab ID or Department of Energy issued badges. This would include badges issued by Department of Energy Laboratories.
To obtain a visitor's pass, you must enter the site using the Pine Street/Kirk Road entrance only on the first day you arrive. You will be issued a pass for the duration of your participation in the Review and can then use the Batavia Road entrance if you would like.
From I-88 West, take the (Aurora) Farnsworth North exit. Continue approximately 2 miles (4 stop lights) to Pine Street. Turn Right and follow the road to the Lederman Science Center. The Security Guards will direct you. They will also have information about your visit to the Laboratory for the Review which will speed up the process of obtaining your pass.
If you have any questions please feel free to email Marilyn Smith or call her at Phone: 630-840-3234 630-840-2900.
Video:
We will provide real-time streaming of audio and video of the three Overview Sessions. This will be accessible through a Web page, using this URL:
http://www-visualmedia.fnal.gov/real/LHCReview.htm.
You can find out how to setup ypur computer and "excersize" your setup by looking at the streaming video of a previous U.S. CMS review here.
Dinner on Tuesday night will be at Chez Leon, starting with drinks at 6:30pm in the User Center (Fermilab Village).
The ATLAS group has the 1 East conference room reserved from Wednesday noon.
