- Preliminary Version of dataset distributed to Tier1 centers (PRS)
- Using the pre-released version of reconstruction code, generate the files that will be distributed during the data challenge. Replicate these files, using whatever means, to Tier-1 facilities. Having these files is necessary to specify the analysis components of the challenge
- Deliverable: 1000 event sample of DC04 data and POOL XML catalog

- System Integration Begins: Ideally, system integration for DC04 would begin this week. This allows time to determine problems and reengineer components, if necessary. Due to the extremely tight timescale, this week may be used to allow additional time for development

- Integration Workshops: Toward the end of this week CMS should plan a series of integration workshops. These could be in person or virtually, but developers should be available for consultation and rapid development.
