Basic Information
On the week of October 9th, we will have a workshop on Pixel Detector
Upgrades for CMS. The workshop will be at Fermilab. The plan is to have a
few plenary talks but for most of the time to be spent in three working
groups:
We expect the workshop to be mainly of interest to members of the CMS
Pixel community since the major goal is to prepare ideas to contribute to
the wider discussion within CMS. However, we cannot discuss these issues
in a vacuum. We therefore welcome participation from interested parties in
CMS and from experts in associated technologies.
The workshop will end on the afternoon of October 12 with a report from each
working group and a discussion of "next steps."
If you plan to attend in person, please send email to
butler@fnal.gov and
swalk@fnal.gov. We would like to get a
count of participants. Videoconferencing will be available for most
sessions.
