Please note that this conference is not regulated by the CMS conference committee.
However, you should discuss your abstract with the appropriate PRS group leaders
or Level 2 subdetector manager. Thomas Muller said "You are right. We should
regulate only what is necessary. In the case of the German Physical Society,
for instance, all members have the RIGHT to give a 10 min presentation in one
of the parallel sessions. Therefore, it would not make sense that CMSCC allocates
talks to speakers. The group to whom the speaker belongs is responsable for
quality and, when unpublished results are presented, must ensure that the rules
of PRS or the subdetector community are followed. With respect to plenary talks:
these are usually invited by the organisers. There it may be appropriate to
inform CMSCC. I hope my interpretation is practical. Should later disagreements
occur we may specify this better."
