The goal of this working group is to create local expertise at LPC of the low level software and ID algorithms, contribute to their development in the framework of the CMS PRS groups, and be ready to engage in physics analysis at the LHC turn-on.

There are only a couple of years left before LHC starts; if you want to do physics with electrons or photons at CMS, now is the time to join: the learning curve is quite steep. On the bright side, we can help you learn! We'll be happy to either help you with a project you want to pursue, or you can join one of the projects we are currently working on.

If you want to join us, please send e-mail to: berryhil@fnal.gov, cjessop@nd.edu, gerstein@fnal.gov

Also see GETTING STARTED at the UAF for instructions on getting ID's, accounts, accessing data and using CMS code. Some useful links are below
